There is no denying that this year of 2020 has been like none other!  We have spent most of it in some form of isolation.  We are trying to define equality and make it a truth. The world, as we know it, is completely changed.

Ann Frank, as young as she was during World War II; living in a world of upheaval, made the very profound statement, “Everyone has inside of themselves a piece of good news.  The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love!  What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!”

“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.”

St. Gianna’s Center is honored to spread such good news.  We help our clients to better understand how much they each matter, what their potential is, how much they can love and how great they can be!  Each of us was chosen to be on this earth at this time for a major reason.  We are unique to the world and to the universe. We alone have unduplicated fingerprints.  Certainly, we were chosen to leave our fingerprints on this earth by making this world a better place during our lifetime.

A British playwright once asked a colleague what advice she would give to a twenty-six-year-old housewife who, having lost 4 children, found herself pregnant again by an abusive, alcoholic husband.  “I would urge her to terminate the pregnancy,” she replied.

“Then,” said the playwright, “you would have aborted Beethoven.”

St. Gianna’s Center is also able to promote good through another amazing service. Dr. Debra Gramlich, as our Medical Consultant, is able to reverse some attempted abortions. Often, the pregnant woman leaves the abortion center having taken the first step in actively aborting the baby and begins to have doubts about that decision. They do not want to follow through with the next step.

The information about abortion reversal is not well known. Even so, our small Center has had 30 calls since 2013 inquiring about it.  Not all of those who called chose to have the treatment.  Some who started the treatment did miscarry and some started treatment and then did not follow up; those outcomes are unknown. There have been 10 successful reversals; 9 live births at term and 1 patient still pregnant with twins and doing well. Those who chose to have the treatment and successfully delivered their babies have been so relieved to have had this second chance.  One wrote to us saying that this baby was the best thing that had happened to her: “the best delivery, best baby, EVER!” Her entire family was celebrating!

Most of these women have been unable to afford the progesterone treatment which is required to reverse the abortion.  The Center treats them under any circumstances.

Babies are God’s way of saying that this world should go on.  Who knows of the 9 babies that were saved or if any of their children might be the genius of Beethoven?!

Our staff and Board of Directors of the St. Gianna Center continue to be pleasantly surprised by your generous support both financially and prayerfully. You are truly a rich blessing to this work and we would not be able to do any of it without your kind support.  We continue to give God great thanks for all the good that you do and that you assist us in doing!
